Everything About Copper Pipes and Tubes
Copper Pipes:
Copper piping is a tube-like material made of copper, a red-brown metal with the atomic number 29 and the chemical symbol Cu. It is used to transport fluids such as water, gas, oil, and other liquids from one area to another. There are two basic types of copper tubing, soft copper and rigid copper.
Copper Tubes:
Copper Tube is used in air conditioners and refrigerators, among other products. Copper pipes and tubes, whether soft copper or rigid copper, and whether utilized for residential or commercial construction, are essential components of every project.
Manibhadra Fittings is India’s most well-known Medical Grade Copper Tubing Manufacturers and Copper Tube Manufacturers in India.
Applications & Uses of Copper Pipes and Tubes

Specification of Copper Pipe:
- Specification: ASTM B68, ASTM B75 ASTM B251, ASTM B280, ASTM B88,
- Size: 15mm to 250MM OD thick 0.30mm to 20mm
- Thickness: 0.3 – 9 mm
- Types: Seamless / ERW / Welded / Fabricated.
- Standard: Single Random, Double Random & Cut Length.
Specification of Copper Tube:
ASTM B 75 - Standard Specification for Seamless Copper Tube seamless copper tube can be round, square, or rectangular and is suitable for general engineering applications. Unless otherwise specified on the original contract or purchase order, it may be manufactured from any of the following alloys: C10100, C10200, C10300, C10800, C12000, or C12200.
This standard allows tubes to be supplied in a variety of tempers (H55, H58, H80, O60, or O50), ranging from light drawn (usually limited to round tubes) to light annealed. When ordering, the purchaser must specify the alloy (UNS#), temper, dimensions (diameter, wall thickness, or distance between parallel surfaces), form (straight lengths or coils), and total length or number of pieces of any particular size. This requirement forces this tube to be a special order tube rather than a stock material.
Copper Pipes Manufacturers and Suppliers in India
Manibhadra Fittings is one of the leading Copper Pipe Manufacturers. Copper has a high resistance to corrosion, but it is becoming increasingly expensive. There are two types of copper tubes: rigid copper and soft copper. Copper tubes are most often used to supply cold or hot tap water, but they can also be used in HVAC systems as a refrigerant thread. Type L, Type DWV, Type K, and Type M are the most common thicknesses available for tubes made of copper in the United States and Canada. We are one of the Largest Stockists of Copper Pipes and Copper Tubes in India. We also have a huge stock of the following products: Medical Gas Copper Pipe, Mexflow Copper Pipes & Tubes.
